Hi my girl is sick, she works at a nursing home and must have picked something up. It has the symptoms of a bug. She is nausious and has thrown up a few times. Her temp when I came home was 105. Now I gave her 2 tylonal and an ice compress for her forhead. Her temp went down to 102 but she seems a little dilutional. She is saying she is cold and she cant keep anything down. What is the temprature point when I should say thats it and go to the hospital with her. What can I do to help her nausia.

Optional Information:
Female , Age: 20

Already Tried:
Excedrin migran for her headache... she then took malox and then threw up. I left and came back a few hours later and her temp was so high so I gave her 2 tylonal and an ice compress for her forhead and her temp went down to 102.6

What can I do for now as home remedy before I go to the hospital. I have cold Compress down... she is laying in bed. So far no throwing up as I am keeping her calm. Her temp seems to be rising slowly again though

If it has been at least 2 hours since her last dose of Tylenol I would give her Motrin or Advil. This should lower the temp better.   You can put her in a cool bath - water temp around 93 degrees Farenheit.   She needs to get some liquids down. Give her sips of gingerale or soda to try to settle the stomach. I really wouldn't wait though. I feel she needs to be seen. A temp that high may indicate something other than a "bug" if it is so persistent. The nausea and vomiting may just be a side effect of having such a temp. Please get her to the ER.
