I have an extremely sore throat-- making it very difficult to swallow, sore muscles, and a mild fever. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Hi,

I can help better if you will please tell me your age and the duration of symptoms and what does your fever register on the thermometer? ALSO, what have you done to treat the symptoms (medications taken and if so what and how long have you been taking them?) I'M 22, The symptoms started a couple of days ago, I have a general temp. of 101 -- The only medications I've taken are Ibuprofen and Benadryl, and only for the past day and a half.
