I have a son who is 8 years old and has been running a high fever of 103.9 and it will come and go with the doses of motrin I have been giving him, but he has been complaining of a headache since he has been with the fever. The thing that has me worried is he woke up crying and shaking and staring straight at the wall and wouldn't answer me when I would ask him what was wrong and his pupils seem to be dialated pretty big at first but then he quited down and went back to sleep. Can you please tell me what could of been wrong and if I should be worried about it or if I should take him to the doctor's or to the emergency room?
