We have a 24 year old son who is severely handicapped. He is nonverbal, with CP and totally dependant. For several years now he has had a reaccuring infection behind is left ear. We have been to several Drs. and sepcialists and they cannot find out with this is. This is very painful with is is coming out because he will be very fussy, not sleeping and rubbing it. One DR thought is may be like a fever blister and but him on Acyclovir. He has also been on sever series of very strong antibotics but nothing has helped. The brake outs come in cycles. About every 30 days. He will not eat and has been in the hospital several times for fluids. I hope you can advise us what else to do. We are at a loss. Thank you. Jan Poe spjp2@verizon.net
