My husband just recently experienced blood with his bowel movements. A couple of nights later he ran a high fever of 103. He says that this happens every couple months for 2-3 days and then it stops. When this happens, he experiences sharp & pulsating stomach pain that lasts even longer. We consulted our health care physician and they simply said that it could be anything and/or many things; it is too early to tell. They did provide him with a cream to alieve what they think might be hemorrhoids, but it does not seem to help. He is neither a drinker nor a smoker. He eats rather well. He does not appear to have any external growths. I have done some research on a few possibilities, but still am left clueless. What could it possibly be?
