my four year old has had a low grade fever for ten days, not eating, drinking some, swelling of abdomen, complains of pain in upper right abdomen. fatique, rash that comes and goes (flat and red circles) she has hydrocephalus and a vp shunt. She had bilateral hip surgery 7 weeks ago and came out of the body cast two days before the symptoms started. Her orthopedic has seen her and says the surgical site is fine. she has had blood work that looks fine and a chest xray that was normal. No signs of shunt malfunction. Her bowel movements are regular.
