My 11 yr. old son has had a fever of 100.8 for 2 days ...

My 11 yr. old son has had a fever of 100.8 for 2 days now. He also complains of headache and i noticed a slight nose bleed on the first day of the fever. Ibuprofen has fixed the headache and fever, should I take him to the Dr.?
