Sent to Health Experts May 18, 2006 11:55 a.m.

My 2 year old daughter was in a lot of pain with an ear infection starting on Sunday, so I began giving her tylenol or Motrin for the pain at the correct times and dosage for her age/weight. Monday her ENT prescribed Keflex and she started on that right away. Monday she also began a fever of 102.5, so I've continued to give her Motrin. Yesterday (Wednesday) her fever spiked to 104 and I'm worried about continuing to give her the Motrin since today is day 5 on it. She's very irritable and not very playful. Her pediatrician can't see her until tomorrow afternoon. Is it okay to continue treating her fever as I have been?
