If you give me a little more information I'll try and give you a good answer. All of these symptoms began a month ago? And these symptoms include a feeling of fever (with a normal temp.), cold sweats, and fatigue? And over how long did you lose the weight? Any other symptoms (nausea, vomiting, bowel changes, loss of appetite, emotional feelings, etc.)? You've been tested for mono, strep, and what else? What sort of physicians have you seen?

I have had a sore throat, feeling hot and taken temp
and always 97.6, cold sweets, dry mouth, like i cant get enough water, sick to my stomach, pains in my right side, tired, lungs hurt, and just this week got a chest cold. There is not anything that feels great I have been sick for a month or longer. I have been to 3 general practioner's. like I said I have had blood tests run, chest exray. For the past year I have weighted 265, and just this month I have been losing alot of weight, I weight 210 and i'm not
doing anything to lose it. please advise me.

I'm sorry that it has taken me a little while to respond, but I wanted to make sure that I had time to give your question adequate thought. This is a tough question, as well, because you have already seen a few people with no firm diagnosis yet. I imagine that you are very frustrated and scared, and so you have my sympathy.

Since you have already seen a few practictioners, I imagine that they have done a fair amount of lab tests, to try and look for certain disorders that could be causing this. But I want to mention these anyway. One possibility, with your history of weight loss, heat intolerance, and other symptoms is hyperthyroidism (high thyroid hormone). This is a common disorder and can affect people in myriad ways, like you are describing. While they probably already tested your thyroid function, if not, I think that it would be a good place to start.

Another possibility is lupus. This disorder is called "the great imitator" because it can involve so many different symptoms, and one person with it can have totally different symptoms from another. So I think this is also a possibility. There are simple blood tests for this.

Lupus is a rheumatological disorder. There are others that should be considered, I think. Sjogren's syndrome (causes dry mouth, eyes, lips, among other things) is a possibility and it is also often associated with something called fibromyalgia that is a possibility. Again, simple blood tests for these exist. And a visit to a rheumatologist might also be in order here.

Infection (although they have probably already tested for this) can produce unusual symptoms like this sometimes, but I think that it is less likely. Another possibility is malignancy, or cancer, with your history of weight loss and other complaints, but I think that this is also probably less likely. But they should be on the list, and should be considered.

So I think that you should get another opinion. I understand this must be frustrating considering you have already seen so many different people. A rheumatologist's opinion could be valuable. And whoever you see, make sure they tell you what they were concerned about, and why that has been ruled out by lab tests or exam, etc.

I hope this helps (a bit). I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but this is a tough question. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Take care.
