I have the following symptoms: upset stomach, very loose stool almost to the point of diarreha, slightly tenderness of my scrotum, slight pain in the abdomin, and my anus feels slightly hot. It doesn't hurt when I urinate, and I do not have any kind of discharge coming from my penis, though at times my gentals feel warm. When I lie down and after sleeping and waking up, I do not feel any of the symptoms. Once I am up and around they begin to re-appear. What are the possible conditions for my symptoms?

Your symptoms are consistent with a viral infection commonly called 'Stomach Flu' a.k.a. Gastroenteritis. 'Galloping' aches and pains and fever are par for the course. The fact that your symptoms lessen or disappear when you sleep/rest indicates that your body is probably effectively dealing with what is probably a short-term illness.

Antibiotic medications are not affective against viral infections. Treatment includes drinking plenty of fluids -- eating a light somewhat bland diet -- taken an over-the-counter pain reliever (such as Tylenol) for aches and pains and getting plenty of rest.

There is always a possibility that the cause of your symptoms could be (or turn into a) something more serious -- which is why if your symptoms worsen -- or severe symptoms last more than three days -- or if your temperature stays above 102 degrees, you should see a doctor.

Does it not matter that I am not vomiting or is vomitng only a possible symptom? Just for my knowledge why would a viral infection such as gastoenteritis cause my genitals to feel warm occasionally?
