Hard to breath, labored. Weakness all over Pain in many joints, arms, etc,temp 99.4 F, previously diagnosed with COPD

Hello William,

You may have the onset of the flu virus. Your symptoms could be the sign of another type of infection such as a UTI (urinary tract infection)

As you breathing is labored, I would call your doctor in view of your history of COPD. Difficulty breathing could be a result of the fever or also condition known as CHF (congestive heart failure) which indicated sluid is collecting in your lungs.

Have you taken something to bring down the fever? Do you have any burning upon urination? Any other symptoms?

No urination burning, temp was over 100F last PM\some dizziness at times> No I have not had a flu shot this year as of yet.

Just asprin, and Ibroprofin

Continue to take either the aspirin or ibuprofin. Drink penty of fluids and see your doctor related to your breathing.

It is most likely the flu. I will be here over the rest of the holiday, let me know if you have any other symptoms or questions.
