A low grade fever can mean that the body is fighting infection or illness, you could have the beginings of the flu, or another bacterial infection but at the same time you could have a viral infection as well. If you are feeling weak and lightheaded along with the low grade fever you may begin to experience more symptoms or the aspirin and some Tylenol for the fever could help fight the symptoms. With a bacterial infection you would need antibiotics to help cure the infection. The aspirin for now is the best thing to do, but with a low grade fever you should take a fever reducer such as Tylenol. There are other things that can cause the weakness and lightheadedness you are feeling but for now you have to monitor your health for other symtoms to see if this is something that OTC products can help to lessen the symptoms or if antibiotics are needed. If you start to run a higher fever, or become extremely dizzy and it is continual instead of coming and going you should be seen for further evaluation.
