I have red dots on my skin that began on my hand ...

I have red dots on my skin that began on my hand and have recently spread over my body. There are only about 15 of these spots and are about a little over a centimeter in diameter. I thought they were bug bites until I woke up this morning and they seem to have multiplied. They didn't itch at first but are beginning to itch alot. I have no fever or nausea. They resemble chicken pox. The skin surrounding them is a bit lighter then the rest of my skin but not very much, not enough to be that noticable. You have to really look at it to notice. I might mention that when they first appeared they were flushto the skin and have since elevated.
