My daughter is 28 months. Last week we took her to the dr because she was acting like she does when she is ill. They said she was fine. This week we had her urine tested because she was still acting ill (she has had a lot of UTI's in the past). It came back fine. Today since she woke from her nap she has had a fever of 101.4-102.8 and the motrin is not bringing it down. When should we call the Dr?

That isn't too high as far as fevers go. A child who has a fever for 3 days should be seen, as then it is more likely to be a problem that needs treatment. You can safely give ibuprofen or acetaminophen tonight and take her in tomorrow. Since she has been acting ill for quite a while, it would be a good idea to do this, as some blood work might help discover the cause of the problem.
