my 3 1/2 year old son is complaining about back pain. Mostly in the center to lower back. He often says it hurts a nap time and bed time.

How long has this been a problem for?

Has he had any changes to his bowel or urine output?

Any temperature or fever episodes recently?

Has he had any falls, accidents etc recently?

Is he eating and drinking normally?

When he says his back is sore, does it delay him getting to bed?

Have you tried any painkillers? Does the pain respond?
