My son, 9, has been sick with different things off and on for a while, what are the symtoms of lukema? Symtoms that can be picked up without blood work?

Already Tried:
nothing, the pediatrician does not request blood work and he has had several outbreaks of cold sores on his mouth, dr. today said they are shingles
