Pain in my left side, low grade fever and major diarreha?

I have been having severe pain in the lower left side. The low grade fever has been going on for about 3 weeks. My GP just keeps giving me antibiotics. The diarreha is at least 15 to 20 times per day. What can be causing this to happen?

Infection , colitis, IBD, medications etc. can cause Chronic diarrhea. Diverticulitis also may need to be ruled out. I suggest to you to go to an Emergency Room because of this severe pain at the lower left side.
