I have had a low-grade fever for the last ten months.

I have had a low-grade fever for the last ten months. I have ideopathic intercranial hyptertension which is controlled by a ventricular peritoneal shunt. My neurosurgeon and an infectious disease physican have ruled out a shunt infection. I also have an Arnold Chiari malformation. Have you ever heard of an extended low-grade fever being associated with Chiari malformation? I've had extensive blood work done including multiple sets of blood cultures, all are negative. My sed rate is fine, shows no presence of infection. any suggestions for ideas on how to track down the cause of the fever would be appreciated. thanks
