I worry that I have Meningitis

I have the following symptoms..Extremely intense headache from ear to ear in the lower back part of my head. I have a stiff neck, no fever, no vomiting, have had a sinus infection for 4 months,I cannot move my head up, down, sideways, turn my head, lay down, rest my head against anything. I have researched Meningitis, but don't know what is going on..help, please.                                        &nb sp;                    a sinus infection..my headache began intensifying Friday night around 9 pm and has been nearly unbearable since. I cannot move my head right or left or up or down I have no fever, no vomiting or am I losing lucidity. I cannot lay down or rest my head against anything. I am considering going to the ER but have not done so yet..

this does not sound as though you have meningitis as fever and many other symptoms present themselves. It does sound as though you need to have this seen and taken care of asap by your doctor or by the ER.

The info for meningitis is attached but as I say you do not seem to have the symptoms with the exception of the stiff neck. This could be caused by a number of problems that need to be checked.
