MY 4 YEAR OLD SON IS HAVING A BAD PAIN IN HIS LOWER STOMACHE. I ASKED HIM TO POINT TO WHERE IT HURTS AND HE POINTED TO JUST ABOVE HIS PENIS. tHIS PAIN HAS BEEN FOR 2 DAYS NOW, BUT GOES AWAY WITH CHILDREN TYLENOL. WHAT COULD BE THE POSSIBLE PROBLEMS? HE HAS NO FEVER AND HAS NOT BEEN THROWING UP.

There are a couple of things that come to mind based on the location. With lower abdominal pain, the most serious thing that we worry about is appendicitis. The fact that it has been present for 2 days, and not getting worse (?) would make this a bit less of a concern.

Another possible cause would be a urinary tract infection.

I would suggest that you have him checked by a doctor.
