I just returned from Mexico on Monday night. Since Tuesday (4 days) I have had a severe headache, cough, chills, and fever. My neck and back are also stiff. My fever hovers between 100-101. I have NEVER had a headache like this. I went to walk-in clinic today. doctor gave me 2 shots of demoral (for the pain) and prescribed Cipro and Vicodine. I was concerned that he ran no tests. He didn't think it was meningits because he said my neck would be stiffer. If the headache and fever gets worse he said to go to the emergency room. What do you thin?
