I'm sorry that your little girl is going through this. I have a son who will be 2 in November and I know how hard it can to see your little one suffer. There are many viruses which can cause this to happen. Some common viruses which can cause this are bacillus subtilis, and vibrio cholerae. There are actually hundreds of them so it can be hard to pin point exactly what she has. If she has a fever along a seal like cough then she most likely has croup which may need to be treated by a doctor with steroids. Whichever type of infection she has its taking a tole on body because when lips turn purple it can be serious. In this case I recommend that you take her to the doctor right away for some blood work and possible medications as this could be serious.
