my son is 12 years old and has a fever. he has gone to the bathroom three times already today and threw up for four times now. what medicine should I give him for now since our doctor will be available by tom. yet.

Hello

This can be due to gastro intestinal infection.It can be caused by viral, bacterial, or parasitic infections.

Give tablet acetaminophen (Tylenol) for fever..Give anti diarroheal medicine - Lopramide 1 twice a day. .and tablet Domperidone 10 mg once a day to stop vomiting.All medication is availaible at counter.

Just check the status of dehydration such as - dry tongue, loose skin etc or if he had increased frequency of vomiting or loose stools then take him to ER as he may require injectable/oral prescription antibiotic and other medications.
