I have had rapid weight gain over the past couple of weeks and some abdominal/pelvic pains. Combined with a sense of fullness, a fever and feeling like I am exhausted. I took a pregnancy test to make sure that wasn't the cause and it isn't. Should I go to a urgent care center or wait till my doctor can see me next tues.?

Optional Information:

Already Tried:
Eating a healthy diet, fiber, salads. Not eating as much- I still keep gaining weight but only in my stomach.

My abdomen feels tense-and I have some pains but not sharp pains more like cramps. I don't have any yellowing in my skin or eyes.

I recommend you go to urgent care. The tension and weight gain may be due to fluid in your abdomen. That combined with fever and dull pains brings up a number of possible problems (appendicitis, gallbladder disease, inflammation or infection of the intestines, kidney problems, etc), some of which need to be taken care of without delay. It's really best to go to urgent care and not take changes with your symptoms. Hope this information helps.
