Can Tylenol #3 bring down a fever?

I know Tylenol is supposed to bring down a fever. We have Tylenol #3 here in the house, will that work?

Tylenol three will bring down a fever because of the ingredient acetominophen (tylenol). If you have regular tylenol or advil you can use these to avoid the unwanted side effects of codeine.
