Hello. My boyfriend and I were being intimate and he accidentally pushed his finger into my urethra and into my bladder. It didn't hurt initially, but then I got a headache. Then the next day it hurt a lot. The pain has diminished a little bit. It has been a week, and for the past 4 days, little blood clots are coming out. I do not have a fever. Just pain and blood clots. Any advice?

Hello, you shouldn't have a big worry on your hands dear. But as you know the force of a finger going into a small hole such as the urethra caused the initial swelling of it.The swelling may have gone away but you should see a doctor for extra precautions. The blood clots on the other hand is a sign of healing or an infection. The finger has germs and the nail has even more. The germs could have caused a bladder infection which is trying to clear up on it's on.The blood clots could also be the scar tissues trying to heal on their own.Seeing your doctor might be a good idea as far as antibiotics are concerned.Next time you might want to use sterile gloves or leave the light on :)
