I believe that I had a dislocated finger but it went back into place its no longer dislocated but the swelling and the redness is still on my finger it doesn't hurt as much but it feels sore how long till the swelling goes away and I could wear my rings once again and its on my left hand on my ring finger where my engagement finger was until this happened

Hello. A dislocated finger, even one that went back into place, needs to be checked by a doctor. I would advise you to go to your local urgent care or ER and get this checked. The swelling should be treated with ice and the finger will need to be splinted.
