I have 3 knots on my left leg that are red, slightly ...

I have 3 knots on my left leg that are red, slightly raised, hard, slighlty painful to tough or push on. About the size of a quarter or half dollar. Also on my left leg for about the last 4 months if I push my finger on my shin bone It actually leaves an indention for about 15 to 20 minutes. Is this something to be concerned about??? 33 year old female
