My son suffered what I believe to a 2nd degree burn

My son suffered what I believe to a 2nd degree burn on 1 finger 2 days ago. It had a blister that has since broken and I am keeping it clean and covered. Can he go swimming in a pool or would it be better to wait until it has healed more?

As long as fluid is not coming out of him and the wound is not open, I would say that it is ok. I would test the water with his finger first to see if the chlorine will burn him. If this answer helps please hit the accept button. Thank you.
