I have had an infection on my left pinky finger ...

Sent to Health Experts August 08 09:08 PM

I have had an infection on my left pinky finger for two weeks. It started off as a hang-nail that I pulled and got infected. It went through the swelling and pus stage. I thought it was better a few days ago. Now it seems to be more painful, swollen and red. It's around my nail area. I pushed down on it yesterday and some pus came out. Today it's red and hard and hurts to much to push down on it. Please let me know what you think. Thank you.

You may have abscess formation on your left pinky finger. You may need incision and drainage depending how bed it is. I suggest to you to go to an Emergency room . In the mean time you can take Advil tablet.
