Numbness And Pain in ring finger and pinkie
Sent to Health Experts September 13 12:33 PM

My name is Cheryl and I have been experiencing numbness in my ring finger and pinkie of my right hand and occassionally in my left hand. If I happen to be writing or holding something the rest of my hand becomes numb and painfull. It also has been keeping me up at night due to dumbness that extends up the forearm. Approximately 2 years ago I had this get so bad that I couldn't even open and close either hand. I took an anti inflamitory and discovered I had chronic headaches and took medicine for this. The pain left and motion returned. I have moved and no longer see the doctor who helped me. Now that it is starting anew I want to know what is the problem and get to the root of it not just fix the symtoms. Any ideas?

Reply to Karel1's Post: One sentence that has already been thrown out as a diagnosis. If you are an expert, why is a respertory therapist answering a nerological question. This has nothing to do with resperation. I am not going to pay for this nonsense.
