My left index finger is swollen, painful and unable to ...

My left index finger is swollen, painful and unable to movement. I also have some numbness is the tip of the finger. I do not recall any injury and started out of the blue. Been using ice as much as possible.

Reply to Pauline's Post: finger appears to be of normal color, but seems colder than the other fingers. It started yesterday.
