are the bumps itchy? Are the bumps only on the finger where the swollen knuckle is. Do the bumps look like they are fluid filled or are they solid appearing?

They are white and full of puss and now his thumb knuckle is swollen and hurts. He says it feels like it is on fire. My doctor said it is an allergic reaction, but that doesn't feel right to me.

Thanks for your help in this matter.
