Question

hand pain

Sent to Health Experts March 09, 2005 9:12 p.m.

I was folding laundry, I shook out a pair of jeans with the belt in them, and the buckle flew up and hit the top of my right hand right behind the knuckle on the index finger, I immediately felt a terrible pain in the top of my hand that started traveling down my index finger. The top of my hand started to swell I felt suddenly flushed and dizzy, and when I bend my index finger it feels very tingly. Should I have this checked out by my doctor? I have done silly things like this before, but never experienced a pain like this or the feeling I immediately had afterward.
