Male,caucasian, 60 y.o. hx of gout. Currently having pain in the same toe and extending down the left side of the foot half way, much swelling in the top half of the foot from the toe downward on the left and skin very warm to the touch

Not similar to previous bouts of gout. Much more extensive. Pt is a waiter with 8 hr shifts on his feet. Could this be gout again or something else?

soaking in Epsom Salts, Black Cherry Juice, Tylenol
