Dear C,
Did they do a spinal tap. If not they need to.
There could be a spinal fluid problem.
Also, a angiogram of the brain would tell them if there where damaged blood vessels. There also could be arteritis (inflammation of the blood vessels in the brain). They usually will take a small biospy for this diagnosis.
I hope he is seeing a neurologist. He also needs to see a reumatologist.
See these links: http://www.drkoop.com/ency/93/003428.html

If you have more questions just ask me.
I hope this helps. Good luck and God Bless. I have had ALL these things done. They are uncomfortable but worth it for a diagnosis.

Do you remember what medications he was taking BEFORE he started getting the headaches? List them for me. I will cross check a few things.
Also How long has he had Seizures?
Has anyone tested him for an INFECTION in the brain...this would be by spinal tap.

I tell you what, I am beginning to think it is a medication causing his headaches. I am going to have to run some cross checks. Something stronger, like Morphine, is not recommened, if he is already on all the seizure medications. I will cross check all these and get back to you.
What medications did they add, when he first started getting the headaches. Can you remember what he was taking, when he first started having the headaches,(depakote)??? and then what did they give him for the headaches?
