I have very bad headaches almost every day that origionate at the base of my neck in the back. My boyfriend came in from work a few days ago and found me on the couch, he asked me some questions and said i started talking crazy, like calling him mom and dad, and i couldnt remember what apartment complex i live in. He made me go to the Emergency Room, where they did a CT on my head and a spinal tap. The Dr. said there were "a few white blood cells in my spinal fluid..which could be a sign of some infection, and he suggested i stay overnight for further tests and observation. I am a student with no health ins so i elected not to do that...and had to sign an "against medical advice form" in order to leave the hospitol. I've found some things on West Nile Virus online, and ALL the symptoms fit what i am experiencing.....so i guess my question is what are the chances...judging on what i have told you....that it is likley i have West Nile..AND what should i do?
