Hello,

The symptoms you mention do constitute the side effects of verapamil- light headedness, headache, dizziness. It is essential that the dose adjustment should be done at the earliest or a change in medication after examining your vitals.

Another important reason why a checkup is essential at the earliest is that these symptoms are non specific but may signify an underlying serious condition and have been known to occur with stroke or TIA as well as with migraine.

It is not necessary for you to see a neurologist specifically for this condition. A general physician or even a cardiologist can examine and guide you adequately. I would suggest you not to ignore the condition and seek medical help soon. Hope this answers your query and you are welcome to ask doubts if any or seek more clarification on the answer given by clicking on the info or answer button.
