MY SON QUENTIN IS CURRENTLY A PATIENT AT UNC CHILDRENS HOSPITAL IN CHAPEL HILL N.C. HE HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A GI BLEED. FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS HE HAS BEEN IN AND OUT OF THE HOSPITAL FOR TRANFUSIONS AND HUNDREDS OF TEST. THE DRS THINK THE BLEED IS IN HIS SMALL INTESTINE. TH DUEDENUM AND JEJENUM. THEY ALWAYS SEE IN THE BLOOD TAG SCAN STUDY, THE SAME AREA. HE HAS HAD ENDOSCOPES, SCANS, ANGIOGRAMS, ULTRASOUNDS, XRAYS, AND THE LAST RESORT WAS SURGERY, 3 WEEKS AGO. STILL NO SUCCESS, BECAUSE HE IS BLEEDING AGAIN!!!! HIS ALBUMIN IS ALWAYS LOW ALSO. HE IS ALSO A HEART PATIENT, WHO HAS HAD SEVERAL OPERATIONS IN THE PAST, WHICH INCLUDED A FONTAN SURGERY. HE ALSO HAS A PACEMAKER. I AM AT THE POINT OF PULLING MY HAIR OUT! WHAT DO YOU THINK? PLEASE HELP
