This past September my mother died. I sent handwritten Thank you notes to those who made dinners, sent flowers or did something special to support my family. Last week my father died and basically the same people where there to show there support again. In the first Thank yous for my mother I expressed my appreciation for having such great neighbors and friends. I would like to do different Thank you notes for my father so not to repeat myself, because it has been such a short time in between deaths. What is the proper way to express my appreciation but do something different.
