I was recently diagnosed with mesenteric edema, Can you tell me more about this ex:what causes it ,is there anything that can be done about it. what exactly is it .is there treatment for it .My symptoms was severe pain in stomach with continuous rolling gas type pain thru out the intestines with inability to pass flatus,nausea,decreased blood pressure.The cat scan showed inflammation in stomach wall and folds, Wbc's were over 21,000,MRI is what revealed the edema. I have no Hx of heart problems or blood pressure problems i do have high cholesterol and high triglycerides.
