my girl has hyperthyroidism. she just took her prescription, ptu. she's feeling down and moving very slowly. her heart beats normal, but as she breathes it gets faster. an occasional deep breath especially makes it beat faster.. her blood pressure came out 130/70 both times i took it. is there anything i can do short of taking her to the hospital to make her more comfortable, or is that where we should be at this time?
