i've been experiencing pain on my upper right arm
Sent to Health Experts May 28 07:09 PM

i've been experiencing pain on my upper right arm that is getting worse and worse on a daily basis. i haven't been doing any kind of lifting or hit it on anything, so i'm not really sure what it could be. also, i'm usually in constant (not overwhelming) pain in my lower back and on the right side of my body. lastly, i would say on a weekly basis (sometimes more), my chest seems to flutter for a period of a few seconds and i'm not sure why. when it starts, you can actually put your hand in the area of my heart and feel my chest. i'm not really understanding why i'm in pain and why my chest/heart is doing that.

Your symptoms may indicate some sort of cervical spine (neck area) disk/nerve problem. A misaligned or degenerating vertebrae may be putting pressure on one or more spinal nerves -- causing your pain.

As to the chest/heart fluttering -- this could indicate a heart problem -- or it may be stress/anxiety-related -- due to your pain problem. It is unlikely (although possible) that it is caused by a spinal nerve problem.

Because you are symptoms are progressing, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible -- preferably a neurologist -- so that the cause of your problems can be determined before things get any worse. It is highly unlikely that this will get better on its own.
