My sister went in for her 8 week appointment for being pregnant. The doctor did not hear a heart beat and told her she had miscarried, but had not shown any signs of miscarrying. He had her wait over the memorial day weekend and went back in yesterday. Her hormone levels checked in normal and no spotting or anything has happened yet. The doctor wants to check one more time on Friday and then do a D & C on Monday. Should she wait and would it be harmful if she waited? A friend of hers told her to wait because she had the same symptoms and the tipped uterus just like my sister does and they could not hear the heartbeat until 12 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.
