How do you feel other than the sensation of pulsation? How long have yiu been experiencing the symtoms?

This is a hard diganosis to make here; however, it could be the sign of an aortic aneurysm. It is highly recommended that you consult your doctor regarding this. He or she will order an abdominal ultrasound to assure an accurate diagnosis.

Aneurysms develop slowly over many years and often have no symptoms. If an aneurysm expands rapidly, tears open (ruptured aneurysm), or blood leaks along the wall of the vessel (aortic dissection), symptoms may develop suddenly.

The symptoms of rupture include:

* Pulsating sensation in the abdomen
* Pain in the abdomen that is severe, sudden, persistent, or constant. The pain may radiate to groin, buttocks, or legs.
* Abdominal rigidity
* Pain in the lower back that is severe, sudden, and persistent. The pain may radiate to the buttocks, or legs.
* Anxiety
* Nausea and vomiting
* Clammy skin
* Rapid heart rate when rising to a standing position
* Shock
* Abdominal mass

I feel ok. I mean my heart seems to be beating fast, but that's probably because I'm nervous about what's going on in my abdomen. Should I sleep on this tonight and seek care tomarrow or is this a 'go to the ER' type thing?

I know you must be extremely nervous over this. Honestly, as you are not experiencing any pain whatsoever, it should be o.k. to see your doctor in the morning.

If you begin to ecperience pain, nausea or any symptoms that are making you uncomfortable, then by all means head to the ER.
