My foot

I dropped a vacuum on my foot on Monday and at first just thought I had bruised it. It is still pretty swollen and very painful to walk on. The pain keeps my up at night because moving my foot is very painful. Should I continue with my at home care of ice and ibuprofen or should I see a doctor?
