ACCEPTED Check Mark

This can be classified as an anxiety attack or a heart arithmia if this has been happening frequently. You should have an eeg and ekg test, also blood pressure monitoring as well. If these tests come back normal then it could be related to an anxiety attack and you may need to be prescribed an anti-anxiety medication which can help greatly with this. If you drink caffeine or coffee try to limit your intake at least 6 hours before bedtime and use a non-caffinated product instead and see if this seems to help with the symptoms that you are experiencing as well.
