After the pre-term birth of our son, due to clots in the placenta, my wife genetically tested as homozygous for Factor V Leiden and homozygous for MTHFR. They permanently put her on everyday aspirin and high dose B vitamins as treatment. She does not take them. The doctor’s have warned her she if at risk for clots, strokes, and heart attack but how serious is her risk?
