An insert for Heart attack symptoms from the American Heart Assoc. include:

  • Chest discomfort. Most heart attacks involve discomfort in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or that goes away and comes back. It can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain.
  • Discomfort in other areas of the upper body. Symptoms can include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach.
  • Shortness of breath. May occur with or without chest discomfort.
  • Other signs: These may include breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness
  • So although you had a couple of the symptoms that could be associated with a heart attack, I would say probably not as you had no numbness in your arms etc. I would follow up with your doctor just to be on the safe side. I don't know what your BP normally runs etc. But if you have not had a full physical recently, it would be best just to make sure it's nothing related to the heart.

Feeling dizzy can cause one to be nauseated or even vomit. There are several things that can contribute to being dizzy. Inner ear related, infections, change in head positions, vertigo, Meniere's disease, which affects the volume of fluid in the inner ear, low blood sugar, neurologic disorders, diet, food allergies. There is no way to pin point the exact cause without further evaluation. So don't take it lightly and do follow up with your doctor, as next time you may be driving if this occurs again.

Best of luck Hun, Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don't forget to click the *ACCEPT* button and leave *POSITIVE* feedback.

Without running some tests etc. to find out the condition of your heart now. It is just a guess on if this was a heart attack or not. I would still say no, however it doesn't mean there is not a problem and this is just the start of it. You would benefit from seeing your doctor, and perhaps getting a stress test done, to see what condition in your heart is in. Which will give a clearer picture. If you are on 3 different BP medications to control your BP, it's possible your heart has sustained some damage. But again, without some current tests, there is no way to know for sure.

So please do call your doctor in the morning, and this way you can be seen in person, along with perhaps getting a stress test done too.

    Hope this helps Hun
