Question

Possible Heart Trouble

Sent to Health Experts September 14, 2006 12:46 a.m.

I consistently have chest pain/.pressure and have experienced this over the past month and 1/2 or so. I have not been checked out too recently- but have experienced this before, following 9 hours in ER and an EKG/ Echo, nothing was found and I looked silly. I am 30 this year and a smoker (trying to quit) with a repaired Ventricular Septal Defect from childhood, so I am a bit more concerned than a normal 30 yr old.
I do notice that the majority of the time that I do feel these pains and such (which are pretty intense- not a pulled muscle feeling) that it may be a digestive issue. Would something be wrong with my digestive system or gas and such cause pains of this nature. Let me clarify that I am aware of those pains in chest that if you move or breathe in quickly it goes away (many surgeries due to Endomitriosis... acclamated in those pain experiences)... I am thinking of going to doctor to focus on digestive and such- Pain isn't caused on it's own.   Reason for my questions even though I plan to visit a doctor is I am experiencing pains now and consecutively over the past few days. I MUST be at work tomorrow and I am so afraid to waste my time at ER to go through getting no answers again. Please advise if you can. Thank you
